Purikura Review: I Heart P

The machine name is really written as I❤P. I’m assuming it’s pronounced as ‘heart’ not ‘love’. The P stands for Puri, Pink and Party. It’s appeal points seem to be fun and variety.

Purikura Review: Fotoroom

This is a new machine with seats! Perfect if you feel a bit tired, it also has an ice-cream campaign at the moment. But what about the rest?

Purikura Review: Call Me Queen

Here’s a machine that I took a long while ago on a test location, but for some reason took a loooong time to come near me!

Review: How to 45°

I’m not sure how the company is pronouncing this (How to forty-five degrees or How To Yonjugodo) but I’m just going to call it ‘How to’ for now!

Hengao Purikura

Hengao means “strange face” or “funny face” in Japanese. There’s a new version of Bijyo Cocktail out that has a special hengao feature…

Review: La Femme

I think this is the first time there’s been a boy on the blog, and the fact that machine is called La Femme is a total accident… I swear.

Purikura Review: Girls’ Photographer

This is the machine that I tried while it was on location test when I went to the FuRyu offices in Tokyo. I had a pretty good first impression so let’s take a closer look…

Review: Bijou Cocktail

I’m back home from my trip home. That’s what happens when you’re an ex-pat! Anyway, I took these pictures before I went but I have to apologise as I wasn’t using my regular camera so some of the pictures are blurred. Hopefully you can still get a feel for the machine regardless!

Review: Rumor

So there was a lot of buzz from the companies about this new machine and they have done a lot of outside promotion for it too. There’s the free magazine they launched based on it as well as an iPhone fashion app. The machine’s main feature is it’s unusual angle so let’s see what else it has going for it!

Review: Viva Jyoshi

Took pictures for this review a while ago but wasn’t inspired to write about this machine and then forgot I’d taken the pictures. It’s not bad, just nothing special… but let’s take a look anyway.

Review: Sugary

This machine is a little unusual because it is from a company (Bandai-Namco) that doesn’t have too many other machines and those it does have seem to be older. This is the company’s return/break in to the market and it has been quite heavily publicised in magazines.

Review: MeroMero

This is the machine released after Me Her Jyoshi and uses Essence’s special ‘platinum sheet’. (Kinda shiny/pearly printouts. MeroMero is メロメロ in Japanese which they have tweaked to be xoxo in the logo…

Review: Kirei Navi

With Kirei Navi2 just released and me trying to get my computer organised, I remembered that I took pics of the original version a while back. Notes on the new version at the end too!

Review: Cube3

This is a cute machine I found at a game centre I don’t usually go to.  It’s name comes from CUte and BEauty, I like the design of the outside of this one with it’s square theme.

Review: Lady By Tokyo

This review is well overdue as this is a unique machine aimed at older users who are tired of the too-processed look you get from other machines. It also has the distinction of being the first machine to use a foreign model.

Review: Me Her Jyoshi

Lots of pics because for the first time we decided to do the machine twice to try out both courses!
This is a machine with a bit of a grown-up/blogger style on one of the courses with the other being more like regular cute purikura.

Review: Floral Lip

They come up with some weird names sometimes don’t they? Here’s a review for a machine that came out just before summer.
